Diogelwch ar-lein

Mae diogelwch ar-lein yn rhan bwysig o gadw eich plentyn yn ddiogel yn Ysgol y Felin. Mae’r we yn hanfodol ym mywyd yr 21ain ganrif ar gyfer addysg, busnesau a rhyngweithio cymdeithasol. Mae ein disgyblion yn ffodus iawn i gael mynediad at ystod eang o ddyfeisiadau i’w defnyddio yn eu dosbarthiadau ac wrth iddynt symud lan trwy’r ysgol, mae eu hannibyniaeth a’u chwilfrydedd yn cynyddu. Mae manteision y byd digidol yn sicr yn drech na’r pethau negyddol, ond mae angen i blant, ysgolion a rhieni fod yn ymwybodol o’r risgiau.

Rydym yn dysgu diogelwch ar-lein i bob disgybl drwy gydol y flwyddyn gan esbonio ac arddangos sut i gadw’n ddiogel ac ymddwyn yn briodol ar-lein. Trwy wersi ymgysylltiol, caiff disgyblion eu dysgu i adnabod arferion diogelwch ar-lein a gwneud penderfyniadau hyderus, gwybodus i amddiffyn eu hunain.

I gefnogi'r dysgu hwn ymhellach, mae Swyddog Cyswllt yr Heddlu yn ymweld â'r ysgol yn rheolaidd i atgyfnerthu negeseuon allweddol amddiffyn ac i ddarparu mewnwelediadau gwerthfawr i blant a staff, gan sicrhau bod pawb yn meddu ar y wybodaeth i lywio'r byd digidol yn ddiogel ac yn gyfrifol.

Mae’n bwysig bod y plant hefyd yn cael eu cefnogi a’u haddysgu am ddiogelwch ar-lein adref fel bod y neges yn gyson. Edrychwch isod ar ein rhestr o ddolenni ac adnoddau ar gyfer rhieni/gofalwyr, athrawon a phobl ifanc i’ch helpu gyda diogelwch ein plentyn ar-lein yn y tŷ.

Online Safety

Online safety is an important part of keeping your child safe at Ysgol y Felin. The internet is essential in 21st century life for education, business and social interaction. Our pupils are very fortunate to have a wide range of devices to use in their class and as they move up through the school, their independence and curiosity increases. The positives of the digital world overwhelmingly outweighed the negatives, but children, schools and parents all need to be aware of the risks.

Online safety is taught to all pupils throughout the year explaining and demonstrating how to stay safe and behave appropriately online. Through engaging lessons, pupils are taught to recognize online safety practices and make confident, informed decisions to protect themselves.

To further support this learning, a Police Liaison Officer regularly visits the school to reinforce key safeguarding messages and provide valuable insights for both children and staff, ensuring everyone is equipped to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.

It is important that the children are also supported and taught at home about online safety so that the message is consistent. Look below at our list of links and resources for parents/carers, teachers and young people to help you with your child’s online safety at home.
